TEAM BUILDING AND BUSINESS
Utilizing art and Intentional CreativityTM is a great way to improve team building. Bringing art into the work place, you can improve your team and the entire organization. Art will help your team look at something with a different perspective by stimulating creativity and thoughtful observation. Art can combat tunnel vision, and help make a cold, sterile work environment feel more inspiring. Art is a collaborative effort working in small teams or groups. Collaborative art encourages communication, creates a shared experience and a bond. The art-based team projects become a part of your business when we create the event with an intention.
Direct Results From Creative Programs in the Workplace
Meet and Exceed Personal and Corporate Goals – with your guidance, we will create a program with an outcome and a goal for the day. With our method, we will help your staff to place themselves in the proper mindset to achieve and exceed company goals, help them see new possibilities, and allow them to vision their own potential and how they contribute to the organization.
Communication – the fun, relaxed atmosphere opens lines of communication that are often blocked in the workplace. Working on a group project requires trust, commitment, co-operation, and mutual respect.
Boost Problem-Solving Skills – art allows us to access the right side of the brain. Creativity is most simply defined as the use of the imagination to generate original ideas, problem-solve, and create alternative solutions to problems.
This is the type of person you want on your team!
Building Morale and Community – art has a huge psychological effect on the brain. Creative activities are relaxing and rewarding and can lower your stress levels and leave you feeling mentally clear and calm. Creating art provides a distraction, giving your brain a break from your usual thoughts. This down time will have a direct impact on personal and group performance.
Investing in your staff by hosting creative events demonstrates that you are taking an interest in their well-being and who they are within the organization.
Foster Self-Accomplishment – Our Intentional Creativity MethodTM provides simple instructions and allows the painter to connect with their emotions. Part of the process allows them to set an intention, connect with their story, and write a new story if needed for forward movement. With their own vibrant symbols, colors, feelings, and energy placed into the work, how can it not look wonderful! Many first time painters have created some amazing pieces.
Group Fun Together Builds Co-operation – Fun with group activities allow employees to see others from a different view point while it creates solid ties that transfer into the work environment.
Try it out and see for yourself! One or all will fit your needs.
PROGRAMS
- Paint for Fun – a project is custom designed with a goal for your event. Each participant is given their own canvas to paint and it is theirs to take home. This focuses mainly as a social occasion.
- Group Canvas or Multiple Canvases – We will interview management to determine the goals for the project and design a custom theme for the event. A group will work on a large canvas or several groups with multiple canvases. (We will have the final say in ratio of artists to canvas)
- Individual Canvases to Create One Large Installation – We will interview management to determine goals for the project and design a custom installation. Each person will paint a pre-designed portion of the installation. The completed project makes people work together, establishes communication, co-operation, fun, and boosts creativity and self-esteem.
- Non-Paint Activities – Non-painting activities are also incorporated into the event to help encourage team work, and improve productivity and performance at work.
- Food – Light Food, snacks, and refreshments can be added to the event for an additional fee or we arrange local catering services. Employers can provide the food and refreshments or employees can each bring something. Specifics are written into agreement prior to event.
- Alcoholic Beverages – We do not supply alcoholic beverages. Alcoholic beverage policies will be governed by the employer of the attendees.
