Happiness and Fulfillment

The most common cause of unhappiness and dissatisfaction in life is caused because you haven’t taken time to learn about the most important person in your life….YOU!  We will go to great lengths to get to know someone that we love or care about to create a good relationship. A good relationship with another person takes time, communication, care, love, compassion, and commitment.

But the question is . . . how well do you know yourself?

The most important relationship that you have in your life is the one that you have with yourself.

Have you used this same time and care to who find out who you truly are and examine what makes you do the things that you do?

Unfortunately, most people will laugh if you ask them this question.  In today’s busy world, we barely keep up with what we have to do. To even consider spending time on yourself feels selfish and self-centered.

This couldn’t be further from the truth.  A person who takes time to nurture and cultivate, is a person who cares for the good of everyone. When you care for yourself, you are caring for others. Our actions have an impact on everyone around us. When you give yourself permission to care for yourself, you are also giving others permission to care for themselves too!

If you don’t know who you are at the center of your heart and soul and don’t know the stories that you tell yourself, you have absolutely no idea what you need to do to make yourself happy.  It’s like taking a road trip without a map or a GPS.  You will be lost before you start.

Don’t you owe yourself more than that?

Accessing this information with Intentional Creativitytm is an amazing and fun way to find out what makes you tick, who you are, and what you need to do to be able to have an amazing life. (It certainly is more fun than many other ways we currently use to figure out who we are).  Intentional Creativity is a tool. This is a way to literally create your life.

  • What am I grateful for?
  • What has made me a better person?
  • Do I like taking risks?
  • What sets me apart from others?
  • Do I like competition?
  • Do I follow the rules or fight against them?
  • What is more important to me, money or time?
  • Do I anger easily?

The list is endless…

Navigate Life Challenges

crossroads-997123_1920We have all heard the statement “Change is inevitable, growth is optional.” Whether you are young, old, rich or poor, every single person faces change many times during their life.

Some transitions are expected, such as getting married or having a child. It’s the unexpected transitions that can truly test a person.

Many major transitions occur as we age — the transition to retirement, the death of a spouse, caring for an elderly parent — that often turn your life upside down. It’s important to understand that transition is a continuous part of life, and each transition has a positive and negative aspect. They key is how you handle the transition.

Knowing yourself and having a “tool kit” to manage your stress, discern what you need to do, and help you to move forward is extremely important.  An important key is becoming friends with your subconscious programming.

Dr. Bruce Lipton at Stanford University Medical Center discovered that “most people don’t even acknowledge that their subconscious mind is at play, when the fact is it is a million times more powerful that the conscious mind and that we operate 95 to 99 percent of our lives from subconscious programs…”

Your subconscious “blueprint” dictates how happy you’ll be, the relationships you’ll attract, the successes you’ll experience in your career, the levels of your confidence… It literally influences EVERY aspect of your life.

The subconscious mind is the store room with an unlimited capacity; all your memories, past experiences, deepest beliefs, everything that has ever happened to you is permanently stored. In simple terms, the subconscious is a part of you that is outside of your conscious awareness, that creates automatic programs to make functioning easier in life, without having to pay attention on everything you are doing.

Why Use Creativity to Access Your Subconscious Mind?

Art is a powerful and useful tool to bring your information from your subconscious into your awareness.  Using creativity, the subconscious communicates with you in color, energy, symbols, and form.  It finally has a language that you can understand. It allows you to embrace the challenges, chaos, and helps you to work thru them on the canvas. When you work with them on the canvas, you can work thru them in your life instead of being stuck and overwhelmed.

Manage Grief and Loss

butterfly-1639168_1920All human beings experience loss at some point in their life, and unfortunately more than once. Most often loss comes in the death of a loved one. However, we can also feel loss from the end of a relationship, something that you valued highly, or even the loss of a job.

The loss can rock you to your core.  When we experience this loss, we are left with what feels like a huge hole in our heart and in our life.  The feelings can be overwhelming and profound and we don’t know how to stop the pain or move forward.

The use of art and Intentional CreativityTM is a nurturing and healing experience. The special process allows you to transform the grief into gifts so that you may move on and heal to use what you have learned from experiencing this loss.

All experiences, whether good or bad, are our teachers.  It is all about how you frame them in your mind and what you choose to do with them.  This painting method gives you an outlet to express what you are feeling in a constructive, productive, and self-loving way.

Improve Your Life

glasses-1030548_1920Self-knowledge is essential to find out what’s important and not important for your well-being.

There’s power in knowing yourself and using that understanding to guide your life.

Getting to know yourself takes constant effort and courage. However, the rewards are amazing! You gain a deeper understanding of what makes you tick, how you relate to the world, what you truly value, your strengths, weaknesses and your triggers or hot spots. You will gain a clarity and vision on what you need to focus on in your daily life.  You will begin to take a stand for yourself and how you walk in the world.

Utilizing art and creativity allows you to be in the moment, not in the past and not in the future.  Be here, now.  Learn to listen within. Gain clarity and see what you need to create a completely glorious life and future.

A Supportive Community Has Many Benefits

Belonging to a group that holds a safe space and allows you to connect with others benefits you mentally, physically, and emotionally.  Here a few reasons why you should be open to a group setting:

  • Shared experiences.  You can receive an amazing amount of invaluable knowledge and support from others that have gone through similar experiences.
  • They provide needed accountability.  When you know you’re going to be asked about something it often motivates you to have the answer ready.
  • They can give you an outside or objective view. Solomon once said, “Plans fail for lack of counsel.” It’s easy to miss the obvious when you are constantly close to something.
  • They can help you to see your blind spots in life. When driving down the road it’s hard to see your blind spots. That’s why it’s important to have good mirrors. Peer mentors can help you to see things more clearly. Sometimes when you’re really close to something you can’t see all the details or blemishes.
  • They aren’t afraid to ask you the hard questions. It’s important to ask the right questions to get unstuck in your life. This helps you to be honest with yourself and it helps you to get unstuck when you need it.The most important reason to bring Intentional CreativityTM in your life is because you have placed your needs on the back burner for far too long.

You need to place yourself on your priority list and have some fun too!
